Summer Telehealth Webinar Series

GNYHA is hosting a Summer Telehealth Webinar Series to raise important issues for member hospitals considering establishing hospital telehealth programs. The webinars will highlight technical, legal, reimbursement, and implementation issues. The series will also clarify recent changes in state and Federal law and regulation, which have led to greater interest and opportunities for providing telehealth in the region.

While telehealth is an umbrella term encompassing the use of various health technologies to treat patients who are not in the same physical location as their provider, this series will focus on telemedicine, in which clinicians and their patients interact via audio, video, or other electronic media for the purpose of diagnosis, consultation, or treatment.
