Emilie Shore joined GNYHA’s Center for Health Equity Policy and Services in 2022. on September 12th as the Assistant Director for Health Equity Policy and Services. She will support member hospitals initiatives to improve health equity for all patients. Prior to joining GNYHA, Ms. Shore served as a Patient Representative at Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital and volunteered at Mount Sinai’s Sexual Assault Violence Intervention Program as an emergency room advocate. Prior to her work at Mount Sinai Brooklyn, she worked at a charity in both the United States and the United Kingdom that served individuals living with neuromuscular conditions. Ms. Shore earned a BSW from the University of Vermont and an MSc in Health, Population and Society from the London School of Economics.
