Sepsis

To address the challenges presented by sepsis, GNYHA and the United Hospital Fund launched the STOP (Strengthening Treatment and Outcomes for Patients) Sepsis Collaborative, which worked with member hospitals to implement standardized processes for the recognition and treatment of sepsis to improve care and reduce mortality attributed to this condition. The resulting toolkit and resources are available for GNYHA member hospitals’ use. GNYHA continues to update members on sepsis related programs and policies.
