Alejandra Diaz-Houston joined GNYHA’s Center for Community Health, Diversity, and Health Equity in 2020. She is responsible for analyzing current and proposed health equity-related policy directives and supports member hospitals to implement health equity initiatives. Prior to joining GNYHA, Ms. Diaz-Houston worked for the New York State Department of Health in the Center for Health Care Policy and Resource Development. She earned her BA in the History of Science and Medicine from Yale University, a Business Certificate from Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, and an MPA from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy.
