IRF Regulations

In addition to the inpatient prospective payment system and outpatient prospective payment system, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has established prospective payment systems for other services, including inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF). As updates to this payment system are made, GNYHA provides member hospitals with analyses of the proposed and finalized policies and tools to estimate their fiscal impact.
